Look in your owners manual for section called "recreational towing". If it can be towed, there will be this section telling you how to set the vehicle up

Remco website has some information. You input the vehicle in question and it will give some information. You cannot always trust evrything. Even dealers cannot always give the straight truth.
Owner's manual of proposed toad will give some under "recreational towing" if it can be done.
You could post proposed vehicle here and get some answers.
You should have moderator move to Dinghy towing
