I had an older TT with the typical large flat frontal area. I now have an Airstream that is longer and heavier than my old TT. I get better gas mileage towing my Airstream and it tows much more stable. Aerodynamics is a major factor when it comes to gas mileage. I have a friend that got better mileage towing a 10,500# Sabre fiver than he did towing a 5500# Jayco TT. Arodynamics.
