AAA in most all areas uses contractors.. The very same contractors in many cases Coach Net uses. However CoachNet is often faster as they may well have more contractors and pay them better. AAA towing does not pay the contractors as much as many companies do and this results in longer wait times.
Your best option is a good Credit Card and a reimbursement policy (Towing rider on your vehicle insurance) but that is not always possible.
I know nationwide got me the towing check fast enough that "Pay off by end of month" applied...
Of course the adjuster apologized for laughing as he read my carefully worded to get exactly that response E-mail claim filing.... (I told him no problem, in fact thanks that was what I was aiming for) one towing claim.
Not saying it helped.. but for sure it did not hurt. to make the adjuster laugh.
