I would also check some of the horse forums also as some do this for a living (horse breeders/show/equestrian events/rodeo/etc).
I custom haul mostly cattle with a 16k GN triaxle trailer.
A 6k rated tow bar...may not be enough ...'course we have no idea how heavy the horse trailer is. Calamity wrote:

Haha, yeah maybe Better to let the horses pull the moho. That way they'll be sucking fumes from the car in front of you!
