I suppose there wouldn't be much of a market as we maybe some of the few but they sure do sell a lot of bunkhouse model campers suggesting otherwise. Unless people just buy the bunkhouse models for their kid's friends to come along and stop by for a visit some time throughout their camping vacation. Maybe I will just take the body of my 1/2 ton suburban and mount it to a one ton diesel pickup frame. ??
I agree there is a market /demand. However in the long run the big 3 disagree. I do think federal fuel standards mandate that manufactures entire fleet must meet a certain avg. MPG. Those large capable SUV's detracted from the avg. MPG figure.
