I'm hesitant to even post this, so my flame suit is buttoned tight.
8620-lb trailer, rear bunkhouse room, my three teenage kids love it. Just returned from a 3-week trip out west, including Yellowstone and Powder River Pass (9660').
Should be more than enough for OP's family.
The truck towed the trailer happily at 65 MPH.
Our family weighs about 850 lbs.
And these comments about the power-lacking 6.0? Really? Just let her rev and she'll make all the power you need. Towed in 4th gear, engine at about 3200 RPM. For over 5,000 miles. The truck has 170,000 miles on it, original powertrain.
