In the burbs,
I've towed many miles with my old travel trailer and no sway too, altho most with a WD setup. I could tow it straight with no fishtail sway. Trucks and side winds pushed me sideways, as a unit mind you. Did that whether I had no bars, WD or at the end, I had a dual cam. I did notice no bars, in side winds, the trailer would rock side to side a bit more than just a WD setup, which was more than the dual cam. Other than that, if one can not tow ones rig at 60 mph, but has fishtail sway, or the trailer operates like a dog tail with a dog coming straight at you......you got problems! A sway control helps, but does not FIX the actual problem, It only hides or masks the issue.
Glad you enjoyed the trip!
