The Escape is a people hauler and grocery getter that is sufficiently strong for the occasional trip to the lumber yard or landscape supply place with a utility trailer. As such it has a soft suspension and passenger car tires. It can in theory pull a small TT, but it would be a lot happier with a large pop up.
