I agree that you need to have the ball joints checked/replaced as well as the rest of the steering components. My ball joints went bad at just over 100K. One thing I learned about replacement ball joints on Fords,DO NOT USE FORD BALL JOINTS, have MOOG life time's put on. Ford uses a nylon or some type of cup inside their ball joints and they are not greaseable. MOOG are greasable and hold up better.
