One other point. We have driven for miles where it looked like we were holding up traffic .... until .... we noticed that there were passing zones everywhere. It seems some folks LIKE to follow a big white wall. So IMHO if there are passing zones, and nobody is passing you, they are either too dumb to actually be driving, or they LIKE the speed you are going. In either of those cases, pulling over is not necessay.
I rarely tow over 55 mph unless I'm caught in a rush hour and am holding everyone up. Then I pop up to 65 mpg for awhile.
