I do understand 4 cyl isn't great. We are only going to be towing a few times a year (3-4 weekend/year). So hopefully given it won't be regular occurrence the stress on the mechanics of the vehicle would be minimal.
Looking at upgrading TV, but probably not for about 6 months.
Just trying to gain more insight and be prepared with as much info as possible to see if it's doable for 2 maybe 3 weekend trips for now.
Not sure if it's worth it to look into brakes either, or just baby it for the couple trips until tow vehicle is upgraded.
