I'v got a Coachmen Prism on the Sprinter chassis - tow rated at 3500#, we pull a Suby Forester (3200#) just fine. You do need to know GCVW - Gross Combined Vehicle Weight - this is the maximum of the camper weight (fully loaded with you, food, the dog, water, etc) plus toad. Our GCVW is 15250 lbs. Rig weight is 11100# max, leaving me 4150# for a toad, but hitch rating is 3500#, so that is the maximum. GCVW and GVWR should be listed either on the door edge sticker or in the owners manual. To get your actual weight you need to weigh it. ST
