- wcjeepExplorerX5? No problem. I have placed a remote temp sensor in the fridge at times. Even when turned on, the fridge can warm up. This also depends on ambient temp and altitude.

That is why there is an LP mode on the refrigerator in the first place. I don't worry about it during refueling, either. I refuel at diesel pumps, no gasoline fumes to catch a flame and blow up.
