You wouldn't have to raise the TV to engage it like chains. I wish they would show how you unhook it.
So you have to thread the straps thru the crank mechanism every time you hitch and unhitch? That would take way longer than hitching up chains. Also has anyone else noticed that when hooking their chains up that if you're not on a level surface that one chain goes on harder/easier than the other. If you're using the Straptek then you would have a loose strap that you would need to start cranking on in order to have the witness marks the same when tight. Or you would have to visually check that the spring bars are the same.
The other negative for me is it's made by Lippert.
