A TPMS is a good idea, even with a new trailer. I had two of my tires blow out in less than 2 years. Your Goodyear tires are more likely to be decent tires, but just think of the TPMS as reasonably cheap insurance.
I have the TST system and it has worked well with only one real issue. They now include a repeater with the system as standard equipment, or so I am lead to understand. It's a very good idea because the TST has a very long lag time between the time a sensor loses contact with the monitor, and the monitor alerts you that it has lost contact with a sensor, it takes an hour to alert. The repeater hopefully will keep your monitor in constant contact with the sensors.
The system is expandable, and adjustments for high temps and low pressure alerts. The alarm is loud, and the monitor is easy to read.
