Tragic Storm Hit At Campground.
According to the NY Times a tornado struck at Cherrystone Family Campground and RV Resort today (Thursday, 7/24) near Cheriton, VA. Units overturned, two dead and 20+ injured,

- Just on TV News. Young couple killed by a tree falling on their tent. Lots of other damage and scared / injured folks.
- It sure was an active storm front with lots of THUNDER and moderate to heavy rain that went thru here. Most of the heavy lightning was noted to be North of us in MD. Usually we hear of things happening in Westmoreland State Park when the storm fronts head for the Atlantic Cost line. Cherrystone is about 100 miles SE from us here.
Heard a blown-over tree crushed a RV Trailer.
So sad...
Roy Ken - Just awful, heard about it from earlier postings and just feel sick thinking of it. We will pray for all the victims of this horrendous tragedy.
