If you get yourself in dark spots as Bob found himself a lot, If your trailer does not have reverse lights. I wired up a reverse wire using the center pin, and put two 50wt halogens on the rear bumper. I cans see backing up into dark spots.
I would also say, that a slightly larger trailer in length, may be easier to back than a smaller one, as now the truck may be able to out turn the trailer some, vs the trailer turning backward faster than the truck. Something to be said for longer distances from the ball/pin to the center of the axel(s).
