Recoj71, folks are overthinking my diagram and may not follow your method either. If you look at the hose to the right of valve 1, that was the winterizing hose. I cut the hose from the city water inlet, inserted a tee and attached the winterizing hose to the tee. Then I removed the check valve from the inlet and inserted the inline check valve downstream from the tee. All I bought was the tee, check valve and some hose clamps. The valves were already there. Simple, cheap, effective and sanitary. No longer is a winterizing hose flopping around collecting dirt.
