Inconsiderate?!! Good grief, surely you could come up with something better than that! :S The point is that dual purposing the on-board pump is inconvenient because it disables the trailer's normal water system, a situation easily avoided by leaving the system as is and simply using a second pump for water transfer. Doesn't matter much now though as it seems Elvis has left the building. :R
You do realize we're talking about a roughly 20 minute process that can be spread over 5 minute increments if desired to add 28 gallons of water to the tank, right? Is that really a terrible inconvenience, or even any inconvenience at all with a little selective timing? Does your family run water constantly, 24 hours a day? I didn't think so... I'm done here too. Your certainly free to spend your money any way you wish of course, but my setup using the on board pump took exactly one additional fitting and about three feet of 1/2" hose.
