Really? Nissan has been mating a CVT to their VQ 3.5 since 2004. Murano was the first, then the Maxima, then the Altima. Subaru now puts CVT's behind all their engines.
Not in a truck application yet but they have been putting them behind engines larger than 3.0 for a while now.
