I would think a cheap junker would be worth more. If you get someone to fork over $20k on a 30y old airstream, they are likely going to want a title.
If you sell a junker to someone for $2k to put back in the woods as a hunting cabin, never to move again, they may not push the issue.
To the OP: You might hear of a chair or cooler sitting outside going missing (more often a friend borrowed it), but been camping almost 50ys and I know no one who has had an RV stolen...certainly not from the campground.
