I agree with the others. I wouldn't run the generator, only the furnace. Do some research and check the pads. You might not even need them if the furnace is ducted (my 5er is 4 seasons, but does not have the pads).
If you do decide the run the generator, you will go through a lot of propane. My Honda is about the same size as your Onan, and doesn't seem to care what the load is. It uses the same amount of fuel if it is running the AC or just charging the batteries. I figure a little less than 1 gallon per hour. Your 30 pound tanks have about 7 gallons of propane. Do the math.
