Just curious, why run the genny while driving, the fan on the furnace is 12 volt as is the thermostat so will run off of the battery. Also while plugged to the truck you will be recharging the camper battery.
I thought I needed to.
So my refer, furnace, and tank heater pads will all work on the 12 volt side while driving?
rmalik1, yes, everything will run on the battery while traveling. Just put the fridge in "Auto" and it will automatically switch to gas when no 120v detected, furnace is 12v so no problem there. Not sure about the tank heaters but really don't think you'll need them while in transit. You can turn them on when at campground and plugged into shore power. Hope this helps, Have a safe trip. Tim
