One daughter gets mad at us when we take an extended trip as if our soul purpose in life is to help her with the grand kids. The other daughter who also has 2 kids says see ya, have a good time.

My parents passed on long ago and my inlaws don’t like grand kids, so we’ve never actually experienced the help that can come from grandma and grandpa.
Or I’ll trade you guys for my inlaws and your daughter can take them for a while!
