Traveling with AC running
Does anyone run a generator to power the AC in their fiver or TT while towing to the CG so it will be cool inside upon arrival? Good idea or bad one?

- Have a gen in bed of truck with power cord that reaches front receptacle of 5th wheel
When it's HOT I run gen and crank on the 5vr A/C Unit plus with fridge in 'auto' it swaps to electric
Set up is SOOOOOOO much nicer when the 5vr is already cooled down
No logical reason NOT to run it - I have a motorhome but do not see any problem with your plan. Generators need to be exercised anyway.
- No reason not to. Class A's run their gens all the time, why not a 5r?
