I carry in the coach here in washington state, I load snake shot in the one on my belt on hikes in the eastern side of the state for obvious reasons.
we often go remote, you are your own protection more often than not. When we are remote off the grid we can legally set up our own targets and shoot til our hearts content.
The only law that gets most folks busted is you can not carry a loaded fire arm in a vehicle, unless you have a Concealed Weapons Premit, issued by a washington state police dept.
That does not apply to long guns, you get caught with a magazine in a rifle it is loaded no matter where the action is, (open or closed) It's $1500 bucks and confiscation of the vehicle and all property with in.
