traveling with firearms
okay so i am going fulltiming may 1st . plan on wintering in texas next winter . so most of my travels this season will be out west ,,,as much as i can see . my question is about firearms . does anyon...

y'know, I haven't needed a spare tire in years, but I have one in every vehicle.
The only place I have needed a fire extinguisher in the last 30+ years was at home, but we have several of them in vehicles.
I have never needed more than a 1 inch adhesive bandage when camping, but we carry a large first aid kit.
One of the more common comments about many subjects is "It is just good (or cheap) insurance!" Yet, many people refuse to grant that a weapon may fall into that category!
I know of one RV park that we might have stayed in for three months several years ago, but in their rules not only do they have the dreaded "10 year" clause, but they firmly state that NO firearms may be carried in any RV on their premises. We did NOT stay there, even though at the time there were no firearms on board. I'm sure we were not missed.
It is, quite simply, a matter of personal choice. At any given time, I might or might not have a weapon. I do not advertise it either way. My neighbors will never know.
