Answer: Those readings were COLD PSI before I started towing.

Does it handle the same without the trailer as it did before. Since you had the alignment done, start at there shop, maybe they can check the tires as well

Answers: Yes, same tire, tread pattern, and air pressures as the old tires. Truck handled the same as it did before without the trailer.

Answer: Yes, Tires checked and verified before I left the dealer as I accidentally did that to a car when I was 17 and working at a service station in 1980. Actually, I don't remember if I grabbed the wrong tires or they were handed to me but I'll take the blame for it.
I had the alignment checked and other than being a very small amount out it is fine and I had the tires balanced again just to make sure everything is good related to the tires. I'll get underneath it this evening and check the linkages to make sure there is no slop in them,
The truck has few miles on it because I have a short trip to work and we've not taken a lot of long vacations with it since we purchased it on early 2013. We mainly camp in State Parks in Indiana with the occasional long vacation trip.
We are skipping this weekend so Saturday morning I'll hook the trailer up to the truck again with sway and weight distribution bars and see if it is any better now that I have 900 miles on the tires.
I've never experienced tread 'squirm' in my 45 years of driving and pulling a trailer was quite the wild experience over 225 miles to the park and back. I guess I'll put the tires on in winter next time to get some miles on them before I tow as I don't want to experience that again.
Thanks for everyone's ideas and I'll report back on the pull test on Saturday and let you know if it is gone or getting better.
