Yup, new tire squirm. My last new truck had this quite bad, even when not towing. I am sure some tires/tread designs are worse than others. Just driving in town, turning corners, the front end seemed loose. It was worse if psi was lower for better ride, as my door sticker was 75 front 80 rear. I've had a number of new cars, without issue, but of the 10 new trucks I've purchased, only a few others acted like that, but to a lesser extent. Towing my FW with last truck, didn't make it worse, as FWs are known to be stable, but I also had a couple thousand miles on the truck, before towing. Truck has 18K on it now, steering is great, and I don't remember at what mileage it was noticeably improved.
