Repetitive gripping or using vibrating machinery
Probably end up with a splint or steroid injection......long before surgery unless extreme
My buddy was a machinist and had to wear a splint for 2 months so that he couldn't use the finger/move the joint.
After splint it was good for about 5 mos. then started having symptoms so he got steroid shots
6 yrs. later he had to have surgery due to excessive scarring around tendon. Got most of the movement back.
