We were visiting my brother a few years ago, some branches were in the way, I made it around them, parked without noticing a 6" diameter branch that had been cut off about 2" from my front corner.. I asked my wife why she didn't say anything about it, she did not notice (she was in front of me guiding me in...)
Two weeks later, we were there again, the 6" diameter branch had been cut off at the tree trunk, no more problem. I took the pruning pole I brought along and trimmed the other tree way back, my SIL carried the branches away that I trimmed, there was a large pile. My brother was thankful as he was not able to do it.
Was a a NPS park over labor day, had to trim a tree that was brushing on trailer, very glad for a dumpster close by to dispose of the branches. We ended up moving to a different site that suited the family better, motorhome that took our old site was glad we had trimmed the tree... it was one of the few sites they could use.
