This is my point of view.
Our family started camping over 60 yrs ago. That ment tenting in a natural setting surrounded by trees. When I go back to some of those early campsites I see wide open spaces, most of the trees are gone.
I see big a$$ RVs with people sitting around an artificial fire pretending to be in the great outdoors. If that's your thing fine but why go into some smaller park and complain when you can't fit in. Go elsewhere.
To you it's just a harmless branch trimming but in reality it's the first cut. You made room on the right the next guy makes room on the left. Somebody else carved his initials in a 100 year old oak. I know it's not you, it's the other guy. It's always the other guy, eventually every thing is gone and paved over.
