Aitkin, MN about 1270 miles. I would do this in 2 days if I had to hurry. Back in the day it was a one day trip, not any more. 600 is about our limit. We only do this if were wanting to get home.
We like to put on a few miles the first day while were fresh. You could do 500 miles the first day, about 10-12 hrs. Then 400 miles the next two days, 8-10 hrs. Just divide and conquer. If you want to stop and see something go for it. We always stop at the state line welcome centers and browse through the brochures.
You can even add a day or two for the return trip if you need an excuse to leave early.
