Trip planner

Rv trip wizard, I used the drag points, but when I printed it, it changed. We do not want to drive through Dallas or Forth Worth. We did it last year on a Sunday in a car, mass confusion for this Cajun.

If you are a AAA member you can log into AAA.com and go to Triptik. You can plan route, find campgrounds, fuel stops and get a print out. You can even bring your trips upon a smartphone, using AAA app. Almost makes membership affordable.

I use my iPad for trip planning, using apps such as inRoute (route planner), Trucker Path (big rig friendly fuel stops) & POIViewer (POI data, works well with POI Factory web site). I looked at the Good Sam & RV Trip Wizard sites. They look good, but I think I'll stick with my current method. Like a previous poster, I don't blindly trust route planners or GPS's. I check out satellite views of my stops to make sure they are OK for my rig. As it is, my Ram's Uconnect system GPS does not accept input from route planners. I can only put in destinations & waypoints. I have to familiarize myself with the route I intend & be prepared to overrule my navigation system if necessary.

Good Sam Club Trip Planner

Have been looking at most of the above, but none seem to account for Trailer height when mapping. What will map well accounting for my height?

My advice?
If possible, read a book or two, about the areas you'll be visiting and then go techno. I like a back story to my tours.
Right now I think I'll be using Google Maps and MapQuest for tracking my trips. Keep in mind I won't have any height restrictions though.

it puts you on roads you don't belong and it's hard to drag
