I have owned my 1999 24' for four years and because it has been 'enhanced' I am pretty stoked about it. However, it had developed some weakening, metal fatigue, with the box that the stairs mount to. Figuring just how that box is attached to the body has proven to be a challenge. One of the thing I did was to send an E mail to Triple E asking for some design information. That was last Wednesday. Next day, Thursday, I had an E back, giving me the name of the Service Advisor that would be following up with me. I sent pics of the problem area, to try and expedite the matter. By end of Friday, nothing.If this is how Triple E responds to customer queries....it will be difficult for me to continue to recommend them as a premier manufacturer.Gary Haupt

Was this the Wednesday before the 4th of July? My guess is that (as many companies did) perhaps they were closed as well on the Friday. I would not be so hard on them, after all- it is a national holiday.

Your request is probably tied up in the holidays. Even though the Canada Day holiday was a week earlier, American July 4th affects a lot of our manufacturing, cross border suppliers/parts etc. Most of the manufacturers in our area are all shut down for the complete week+ that involves July 1 and 4. They just have a skeleton staff working.Also the specific person for your request may have taken an unexpected day off to augment his holidays or been sick.

If that is the case, that they shut down for July 4th...I'll eat my shorts. I can't think of one US company that shut down for July 1st, can you? However, I am prepared to give it another work day..that'd be tomorrow, by my calender. But 3 working days to reply to an E mail is just plain shoddy. And making excuses for shoddy attitudes is sooo Canadian. I'm so sorry that they didn't get back to me.Gary Haupt

And now that I have cooled down, I am going to respond to this.

Firstly, it's a C not a trailer, but your comment about rusted out just irks me. You don't know me, never met me, haven't seen my gear, so to make that kind of judgement call is so beyond me, to fathom, unless that is your usual reposonse to most everything. My C is so far advanced of most anything out there, I'd let it stand beside anything out there and while it might not come out as shiny (I don't polish it, I drive it) it will go places you can only dream about.

As for rust? You may be correct in that the box has deteriorated. I hadn't considered that. It is now at an RV repair shop and if it needs to be replaced, that will happen.

And now we have five work days of no response for Triple E. I love their product but if they cannot take the time to respond to a customers request for info, they need to take a look at their policies.

I sent a E-mail to Good Year tire and rubber requesting information on a GY tire three times over about a 3 month period and I am still waiting for a reply 6 months later…

I did send 1 more follow up E-mail asking if there was a reason for not answering the other E-mails back in late May… I’ll let you know what they say when they reply…

So..four work days and Triple E still can't respond to what seems to me, to be a simple request for information. I mean...this is stupid. I am not asking them to design the 'box'..I just want to know how the one I have..on a 1999 Regal 24ft, is attached to the body.

Oh wait...we are Canadian after all....I'm sorry they haven't been able to send me the needed info. I'll try and make it up to them, somehow.

So the name of the service adviser contact was sent to you on Thursday the day after you sent an Email, then you sent pictures and expected an answer on Friday? Do I have that right?Don't suppose he had to check with engineering or anything,but was technically versed in the correct repair of an older unit probably not made anymore,ya we Canadians are pretty patient lot aren't we.

Gary this seems pretty strange the only few times that we have ever had to contact triple E we have been responded too within three days at the very most. We deal with Brad Wall who up until know has given us flawless service.
In my opinion this is one area it is difficult to fault Triple E on. Hope that you can get this resolved.
