Your request is probably tied up in the holidays. Even though the Canada Day holiday was a week earlier, American July 4th affects a lot of our manufacturing, cross border suppliers/parts etc.
Most of the manufacturers in our area are all shut down for the complete week+ that involves July 1 and 4. They just have a skeleton staff working.
Also the specific person for your request may have taken an unexpected day off to augment his holidays or been sick.
