I totally trust the OEM mirrors on our F250. Why wouldn't you trust them? No issues here.
I constantly monitor my mirrors so I know who's coming up behind me, who's around me and if someone has suddenly disappeared from view (ie., tailgating). DW's job is to monitor signage on the roads (especially things like exits on freeways) so I can keep focused on the driving and traffic. I've always monitored my mirrors since I started driving nearly (OMG) 50 years ago.
The awning struts on the right side of our TT stick out 2-3" and partially blocks the view down the right side. I wish I could move the mirror out more but can't. I've tried to get DW to stick her head out the window on the freeway but she just won't... :?
