When I was a kid camping there was 4 billion people on this planet. Now theres what 7 billion people! I don't think campgrounds have been built at the same rate as shopping malls, churches, restaurants and homes. Yes I have noticed that last minute trips can leave me anxious about finding a spot. The lifestyle is still appealing to me so I adapt, book sites or travel outside of weekends when I can.
I still think its the best leisure time activity for me and my family so we just make it work...with no plan to cut back anytime soon. We each have to decide if its worth it to us.
