I went through this purchasing a DP 4 years ago. Private seller want way over what his RV was worth. I asked where he arrived at the selling price, guess that annoyed him. he was over NADA about 17000 bucks. He said that the price was altered due to modifications and upgrades they had done. After all was said and done, and with him saying no way several times, We bought for cash 27000 below his asking price. We used the same bank so we met at local bank near him, I gave up part in cash and transferred the rest to his account. Bank manager did a bill of sale notarized and also helped with filling out title of coach.
