Search the web. There are tons of places and some dont even have websites but will have a phone number listed. We stayed a few nights in a reglur ole place in Fredricksburg Texas for $25.00 a night or $245.00 a month plus electric. Nothing fancy, many live ins, quiet, safe. Also go to google maps and do street views or zoom in to see what the place looks like. They are often older images but usually still give pretty good idea of what the place is like.
