Your answer is simple, bigger truck or smaller trailer. Try telling your wife she cannot bring any more with her even though there is plenty of cupboard space for dishes,food and camping gear. Trailers get heavier with age and you are already trying to not load a bunch of stuff. Everything you put in the trailer means you need more tongue weight which you cannot handle already.
No problem with that, in fact thats what alerted me to the Durango's potential shortcoming.
I just have a real issue with people telling me I am lying when I state numbers.
