I am sorry you took it that way. I did not say you were lying or intend to imply that. It is my experience with others and even myself early on that I can severely underestimate how much stuff weighs...I am honestly just trying to help.
I was very hesitant to post anything on towing because I have seen people get eaten alive in these threads, which is why I wrote such detailed posts and repeatedly said that I had actually weighed my trailer.
It just galls me when people don't bother reading the whole post, jump to a conclusion, and then start ranting, using aggression to bolster their authority when they predicate their arguments on assumptions and old information. It seems like no one is aware of the truly ultralight trailers out there.
It galls me when I see people asking for advice on a trailer get referred to old and heavy equipment, followed by the "get a real truck" rant that puts off potential new campers. A case in point is my the 2014 StarCraft Comet 1220 I traded in for my current TT. People could not believe it only weighed 1840 LBS.
In any case it is me who is ranting now and what I really want to say is thank you for clarifying your comments and the help you provided. I really do appreciate it.
