TT toilet

Question

2011 Rockwood Ultralite TT. When I flush the toilet the ball ? won't close unless I lift up the foot pedal with my foot. We've cleaned it &amp; tried vaseline, WD40 &amp; vegetable oil to no avail. The strange thing is when I shut off the water to try &amp; fix it it closes perfectly every time until I turn the water back on, then I'm back to the same problem. Any ideas ?

Problem is in a sticky water valve instead of the bowl seal?

Let the foot valve "snap" back up quickly.  A bit noisy but it usually will let the ball valve close completely that way.Barney

Try cleaning the underside of the ball seal. My toity came with one of those tan disposable finger nail files to clean the seal with.

Throw out the WD40 but keep the veggie oil for cooking; use silicone spray on the valve shaft and work it a few times.
