1. Many CGs don't have cable TV. If they do, sometimes the picture quality is so low it's hard to watch.
2. Many CGs won't have OTA TV unless you are close to an urban area. In some CGs with OTA, you may have only a few stations and they either keep cutting out or are mostly in another language or are shopping channels. Pffft...
3. Depending on where the CG is and where your particular site is in that CG, you may not get satellite reception due to trees or other obstructions or bad weather. Depending on your dish, setting it up can be a bit of a pain, esp. if you are just over-nighting. We pre-record most of our shows at home, but if you're travelling around, that's not going to work.
If you absolutely can't survive not keeping up to date with Survivor, AGT, DWTS, The Bachelor and a few other shows, arm yourself with all three methods. ;) There's always a DVD but somehow it's just not the same as watching a TV show.
Haven't heard about 5G yet, but if it's anything like our 4G Verizon, there are some locations where there isn't coverage or sometimes the signal drops out. Hmm, that's gonna mean arming yourself with 4 methods?
