Got to have some PLAN Bs haha... My coffee is pretty high on the list of priorities.
Having said this the best way we found for making coffee and power management is we use the CUISINART DGB-600BC Bean coffee grinder/maker. The beauty of this is it only takes around 5 minutes to grind up the coffee beans and make coffee then completely turns off. The coffee is keep hot all day long in the stainless steel Thermal Carafe. When we are camping off the power grid I will make my coffee off the 2KW generator first then re-charge my battery banks.
I have seen some folks install an outside flip lid connector for an additional 20AMP Service Connection. The 20AMPS Pedstal Service is there to use so use what you got haha...
We would do almost anything to keep from using the very loud propane furnance and of course it just makes good sense to use the camp ground electric instead of MY propane.
Have fun on your trip - keep warm.... We are just now having our cold weather hit here in Northern neck Virginia... Brrrrrr Going to be hard on my wood pile and electric bill...
We just might be better off moving into the trailer for a month or so here in the back yard.
