Some good mod upgrade suggestions but we are generally not sub zero C campers so no need at this time. I was caught off guard with needing to head north for turkey day during a freeze. To put this in perspective, we have owned campers for 12 years and I have never winterized. Usually no need down here.
It's 36* now and one 1200W heater has maintained the 32' camper at 70* no problem with some adjustment to spare. I ran both for a few hours last night and didn't have plugs or breakers feeling warm so I'm good there. WH is running on propane to take that load off as well.
They are forecasting 28* tonight so I might put the second one in the basement with the Tstat set low. I have an enclosed belly so I'm sure I'll do fine.
Stetwood is correct in the fact that it will be freezing for only 6-8 hours each night.
