Hi rhagfo,
That is why all but three of my outlets have been replaced with regular residential outlets using screw terminals and boxes.
My system is able to outperform the 30 amp cheap heat (which would not meet my heating needs), and will provide for all my heating needs. Costs to do so were less than 1/4 of a professional installation of cheap heat. If I had to transfer over to a 50 service for my RV the costs for "cheap heat" would be VERY pricey.
Pay back on cheap heat is many years if you are paying for the electricity vs cost of propane.

one of the reasons I worry is if you ever look at the design of the outlets in you trailer you will notice they use insulation displacement, as their connection method. This only provides a small area of wire contact to the device. This is far less than either the stab type, and far less than screw terminals. They do carry a UL label, but still have far less contact area in the connection than a house hold outlet.
As for the Cheap Heat option, no not cheap to buy,but we do spend a lot of time camping in the winter, I think my payback would within two years.
