it would be sweet, but they won't impound for being off leash.
now if the bite occurs, then it is a whole diff. ball game I believe.
I went to the mts this weekend. lady had her 2 beagles off leash. they did not stray one second from her side on a short walk around my site area. they obeyed to the max. I thought, 'wow she has control'. HUH??
then not like 5 minutes later here comes one of the beagles hightailing it straight thru my site, right past my little dog who didn't even see it coming and on it went. (I laughed, oh yea real control!)
then a bit later the same beagle was 'walking itself' with a family group and their 2 dogs, of course driving their muttleys a bit batty. but they were laughing about it.
but rest of trip never saw the beagle loose again.
I don't care how friendly, perfect, wise, adorable, trained and more a mutt is--loose it is a pain in the you know what to other people :) :)
