I have a 2014 Fleetwood Storm 32h. This is our first real trip and the toilet was fine for the first 2 days. On day 3 my son told me the tank was full because it wouldn't flush after his #2. I thought it was unlikely to be full after such a short time but we have full hookups so I would just dump it. Everything seemed to dump fine. I went to flush with the chemical in the bowl and it wouldn't flush. I saw a clog right behind the valve so pushed it through with a stick. I then pit about 8 to 10 gallons of water in the tank to compensate fir the ball of tp. Later the toilet just wouldn't flush correctly. Every time I would flush it would burp back water before the contents went down. I dumped the tank and the same thing would happen. I guessed that the vent was clogged so ran a hose to the roof vent with the dump valve open and found that the vent stack was pushed up about 3 to 4 inches too high which actually tore the cover right out of the roof. I was thinking that the only thing that would do this is high pressure in the tank which caused the tank to bloat since the vent would be through the top of the tank. I ran water down the vent pipe and it went down into the tank and out the hose without issue. I then closed the dump valve and began the tank rinser and could feel air exiting the vent. I think the vent is open. Currently the only time that the toilet flushes fine is when the dump valve is open. It keeps sounding like it's the vent but it's open. Any ideas?

Too much TP and not enough water. When you get home, open the black tank dump valve and stick a garden hose up into the tanks and turn the water in. It is going to be a stinky dirty mess, but you have to get the pule of dry poo out of the tank. Once you have it as clean as you can that way, close the valve and search online for the geo method of tank cleaning. Basically involves adding some water, crushed ice and water softener and then driving around for a while. Hopefully this will break up the remaining poo pile.

Make sure there isn't a vacuum lock in the drain hose. (lift it off the ground and move it around) Get a garden hose with a tip nozzle and stick it down the toilet and turn on full blast. Of course stop if it doesn't immediately clear it.

It is possible you have an obstruction partially blocking the drain line. Sometimes the cutouts for the vent/drainpipes are left in the tank to become a problem later. It is also possible the vent pipe is pushed to far down in the tank and is being blocked when more is added.

It may be that the vent is pushed too far down into the tank and as soon as a little material covers the bottom of it, it starts doing as you describe.My own vent was installed too deep. I start to have the same problem when the tank approaches a bit over 3/4 full. Not sue what to do about it though. Pulling the pipe upward (if possible) is dangerous since if you pulled it out, it would be near impossible to get it back in without major surgery to the rig.

Being a 2014 I would not mess with it to much and as soon as you get home ----off to the dealer for warrenty work, sounds like it may be a factory problem.
Do the best you can for now.

Vent line pushed up..........toilet only flushes with dump valve open.......had to push stuff down into tank.

Folks are using too much TP and not enough water when flushing toilet (RV TOILET USE LESSONS NEEDED......water is your friend)
Vent line sticking above roof line (which was caused by improper venting initially)

You can mess with it........tank needs to be dropped/vent line---toilet line checked/corrected etc.

BUT I wouldn't. Way too much hassle.....covered underbelly/dirty tank/accessing top of tank where lines come in/2014 model.
Back to dealer and have them correct it.....and then show you that it functions properly before taking rig back.

Way too many problems for a new unit. ONE of which may be caused by folks not properly using toilet.......other problems are mfg. related

Agree. I'm getting a gurgling and whooshing sound in the wall when tank is over half full. Thanks for all replies.
