Not confused at all, the company is based in Michigan where they assemble them, Tera Trikes are made in Taiwan and shipped to them to assemble.

Their facebook page BTW I bought my Catrike in 2011 while waiting for the ship to arrive from Taichung, Taiwan so I could test drive the newest ones, no stores had any in stock, they were waiting for the ship.
Also a list of all trikes and the mfg country you will notice that all Tera Trikes are made in Taiwan.All Catrikes are made in the USA
I did a lot of homework before I spent my money. One thing I didn't like is the way they say they are an American company, which they are,but the products that they sell are made in Taiwan. That strikes me as VERY misleading. I don't like companies that wave the flag in their adds like they do and try to make you think that you are supporting American made products and jobs.
At Least with Catrike it is made in America using American labor thus creating jobs and not outsourcing them to Taiwan.
